The Nicon Soft Aluminium Jaw Set MMV160AJ protects finished work in the Nicon MMV-150 and MMV-160+ machine vices. Aluminium faces clamp firmly without bruising the part, and they can be machined in situ to match whatever profile you need to hold.

• Fits: Nicon MMV-150 and MMV-160+. Both vices use the same jaw mounting, so this one set covers either. It will not fit the MMV-100 (which takes the 38 x 110mm set) or the MMV-200 / MMV-200+ (which take the 60 x 200mm set).
• Jaw size: 48mm high x 160mm long.
• Non-marring: Solid aluminium faces grip firmly without bruising finished surfaces, plated parts or soft materials.
• Machinable: Cut the jaws to match your part profile for a form-fitting hold on awkward shapes and repeat batches.
• Direct replacement: Mounts in place of the vice's standard jaws, with no modification to the vice body.

Second-op work, plated and anodised parts, thin-wall components and anything already finished all benefit from a soft jaw. Because aluminium cuts easily, you can bore, step or profile the jaws on the machine they sit in - giving a form-fitting hold that repeats across a batch.
