Nicon Hard Serrated Jaw Set - For Nicon Vices MMV-200 & MMV-200+ - 60mm x 200mm (MMV200SJ)

The Nicon Hard Serrated Jaw Set MMV200SJ adds serious holding power to the Nicon MMV-200 and MMV-200+ machine vices. The cross-cut serrated face digs into the workpiece, so heavy roughing cuts and awkward, unmachined stock stay put.

• Fits: Nicon MMV-200 and MMV-200+. Both vices use the same jaw mounting, so this one set covers either. It will not fit the MMV-100 (which takes the 38 x 110mm set) or the MMV-150 / MMV-160+ (which take the 48 x 160mm set).
• Jaw size: 60mm high x 200mm long.
• Serrated face: Cross-cut serrations bite into the workpiece for extra holding power on heavy roughing cuts and interrupted work.
• Grips rough stock: Ideal for as-sawn, as-cast or scaled material where a smooth jaw would slip.
• Direct replacement: Mounts in place of the vice's standard jaws, with no modification to the vice body.

Serrated jaws mark the workpiece, which makes them a poor choice for finished surfaces - but for first-op roughing on saw-cut billet, castings or scaled bar they hold where smooth jaws let go. Most shops run a serrated set for roughing and swap to hard or soft jaws for the finishing pass.
