Y.T. Solid UFO T-Slot Insert - Steels, Stainless, Super Alloys - 30mm Cutter Diameter 0.8mm Thickness 6.5mm Cutting Depth 8 Teeth (3T1630-0.8-ME-B100)

The Y.T. Solid UFO T-Slot Insert is a high-precision cutting insert designed for small-slot work in steels, stainless, and super alloys. With a 30 mm cutter diameter, 0.8 mm thickness, 6.5 mm cutting depth, and an 8-tooth geometry, it delivers consistent, clean slots and reliable performance across a range of demanding materials.

The tapered-polygon interface is ground with complete precision to keep the seating tolerance at ±0.01 mm, optimizing machining accuracy and insert life. The full size range covers 10–32 mm in diameter, with a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm; for many thicknesses, stock is available in standard 0.1 mm increments to precisely match slot needs and minimize waste.

• Precision-fit tapered-polygon interface: Ground to a near-zero tolerance to ensure exact seating with minimal play, delivering ±0.01 mm positioning accuracy and longer insert life.
• Wide size range with fine-grain stock: Diameter 10–32 mm and minimum thickness 0.5 mm, with standard stock in 0.1 mm steps to match exact slot sizes and reduce scrap.
• Efficient chip evacuation for small slots: 8-tooth design on a 30 mm cutter diameter with 6.5 mm cutting depth provides smooth cutting and reliable performance on steels, stainless, and super alloys in tight slots.

Designed for engineers, machinists, and fabricators, this insert helps you finish small-slot work quickly and consistently. Its precise seating, flexible sizing, and proven chip control reduce setup time, downtime, and variability, delivering repeatable results across a wide range of challenging materials.
