Description
The VCOIL Plug Gauge (D/E) is a precision Go/No-Go gauge designed for BSP (STI) Helicoil applications with a right-hand thread. Built to ANSI/ASME standards, it provides reliable, repeatable thread checks for quality control and assembly workflows.
- BSP (STI) Right-Hand configuration: Tailored for BSP (STI) thread systems used with Helicoil inserts.
- Go/No-Go thread plug gauge: Combines both go and no-go checks in a single tool for efficient inspection.
- ANSI/ASME compliant: Manufactured and assessed according to the American National Standards Institute / ASME thread system.
- Red scrap ring: Scrap side is clearly marked with a red ring for quick identification.
- Go end engages by hand: The go end must screw into the thread cut in the part by hand without excessive force.
- No-Go end limit: The scrap end must not be screwable more than two turns into the cut thread without excessive force.
- Reference temperature: Parts and gauges are specified with a reference temperature of 20° Celsius for consistency.
This gauge helps ensure Helicoil threads meet specification before assembly, reducing rework and misfits. Its simple hand-operated go/no-go test provides clear, immediate feedback, supporting reliable quality control and compatibility with standard BSP/Helicoil applications.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
