Description
Vortex HSS Slitting Saw is a precision cutting tool for metalworking professionals who need clean, accurate slots in steel, aluminum, and other ductile metals. This fine-pitch saw comes in imperial sizing with a 1-3/4" diameter, 0.040" kerf, a 5/8" bore, and 90 teeth for controlled, repeatable cuts.

Hollow-ground bore reduces friction and heat buildup, enabling steadier plunges and longer tool life when used with proper coolant. The 5/8" bore fits common arbors, making tool changes quick and repeatable across multiple jobs—from electrical enclosures to precision metalwork.
