Vortex HSS Slitting Saw is a precision, fine-pitch cutting tool built for metalworking professionals who need clean, accurate slots. Designed for imperial specifications, this 4" diameter slitting saw with a 1" bore and 100 teeth delivers consistent, burr-free results on a variety of metals when paired with a standard milling setup.

- Kerf width: 1/32" (0.03125") for narrow, precise slots
- Bore: 1" (25.4 mm) to fit common 1" arbor systems
- Teeth: 100 teeth for a fine pitch that yields smooth finishes

- Ground type: Hollow ground to the bore to maximize side clearance and reduce rubbing
- Kerf tolerance: Tight +/- 0.001" to maintain consistent slot widths across passes
- Finish and standards: Bright finish on DIN stock, ready for immediate use
This slitting saw is ideal for machinists performing precise slotting, narrow cuts, and fine milling on thin to medium-thickness metal stock. The hollow-ground bore minimizes friction at the arbor, helping maintain dimensional accuracy and extending tool life under typical milling speeds.
