BaerCoil UNF Thread Insert No5 x 44 (1.5 × D) is a stainless steel threaded insert engineered to restore and reinforce threads in high-stress assemblies. Made from austenitic chromium-nickel steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm², it combines durability with precision for demanding applications.
- Material: Austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 with tensile strength ≥ 1400 N/mm² for robust performance in challenging environments.
- Cross‑section: Rhombic profile achieved by cold-form swaging, optimizing thread engagement and space utilization.
- Thread type: UNF insert designed for No. 5 size applications to deliver a reliable, high‑load thread.
- Length/geometry: Length defined as 1.5 × D, providing secure grip and consistent load transfer.
- Durability advantages: Superior wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, improved surface finish, and enhanced corrosion and heat resistance compared with standard screw connections.
- Finish and installation: Smooth internal finish supports easy installation and helps minimize galling during assembly.
Using BaerCoil UNF thread inserts yields a stronger, repairable thread that maintains integrity under vibration and repeated use.
