BaerCoil BSP thread insert in G 1/4 x 19 - 2.5 X D is a precision stainless-steel solution designed to reinforce or repair BSP threads in demanding environments. Built for engineers, machinists, and maintenance teams, it delivers durable, reliable thread engagement where performance matters most.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2.
- Cross-Section: Cold-formed rhombic wire swage to optimize thread contact and maximize usable bore space.
- Thread Size: BSP G 1/4
- Length: 2.5 × D (overall length proportional to bore diameter for robust grip)
- Performance: Enhanced wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, smoother surface finish, and superior corrosion and heat resistance compared with typical single-screw connections.
BaerCoil inserts distribute load across the threaded area, resist pull-out under vibration, and extend the service life of critical joints. They’re ideal for repairing damaged threads in softer base materials or adding durable, high-capacity BSP threads in cast or alloy parts. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
