Description
BaerCoil BSP thread inserts provide a durable, high‑strength solution for reinforcing BSP G 3/8 threaded joints. Made from austenitic stainless steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm², these inserts are designed to perform reliably in demanding environments.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with tensile strength ≥ 1400 N/mm²
- Cross‑section: Rhombic profile achieved by cold‑form swaging for strong engagement and efficient space use
- Thread size: BSP – G 3/8 x 19
- Insertion depth: 2.5 × D (insertion length relative to thread diameter)
- Wear and abrasion resistance: Superior wear resistance and reduced thread abrasion for longer service life
- Corrosion and heat resistance: Excellent protection in challenging, heat‑affected or corrosive environments
These inserts help you achieve robust, long‑lasting threaded connections in metal parts. The rhombic cross‑section distributes load more evenly across threads, reducing wear and delivering a smoother surface finish for mating components. Do you offer Free Next Day delivery?
Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
