Description
Widin Live Centre is an economical, carbide-tipped live center designed to minimize bite interference in turning operations. The HDSTH Type unit is sized No.4 x 8 and offered with Morse tapers No.3–No.6, delivering solid support with a compact, minimized body that reduces contact and chatter across a wide range of lathes and applications. Run-out is precisely controlled at 0.00012"–0.00024" (0.003 mm–0.006 mm).
- Economical, minimized body design: The slim body minimizes bite interference and fits into tight setups, helping you achieve smoother turning with fewer obstructions.
- Carbide-tipped for long life and reliable performance: The carbide tip resists wear and maintains a sharp, stable contact point for consistent support through many cycles.
- Cap rotation design with broad Morse taper compatibility: The cap rotates to help prevent inflow of foreign substances, and the unit supports Morse tapers No. 3–No. 6 for versatile mounting.
This combination of economical design, precision run-out, and contamination-resistant features helps you speed setup, reduce downtime, and achieve repeatable turning results across a wide range of applications—from hobby projects to production runs.

Do you offer Free Next Day delivery?
Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
