Widin Live Centre is an economical, carbide-tipped live center designed to minimize bite interference while delivering dependable support for turning operations. This HDSTH Type center, sized No. 5 x 6, is built for durability and smooth performance in a wide range of lathes.
Morse tapers are available from No. 3 through No. 6, making it a versatile choice for engineers, machinists, hobbyists, and shop buyers who demand accurate rotation, reduced maintenance, and reliable results across a broad set of turning tasks.
- Economical, minimized body: Reduces bite interference and provides cleaner clearance around the workpiece, helping you set up quickly and keep costs down without sacrificing stability.
- Carbide-tipped durability: Carbide tip wears slowly and resists chipping, delivering long tool life and consistent support through repeated high-speed turning.
- Ultra-tight runout with contamination protection: Runout as low as 0.00012" / 0.00024" (0.003 mm / 0.006 mm) yields smoother rotation and better surface finish, while the CAP rotation design helps prevent inflow of foreign substances and maintain stable performance.
This live center helps you improve workflow by delivering stable, precise support across a broad range of turning tasks, from delicate finishing to heavy-duty machining. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
