Description
The Widin Live Centre is an economical, carbide-tipped live center engineered with a minimized body to reduce bite interference and improve clearance in tight setups. The HDSTH Type No.4 x 10 version is designed for versatility across machines, with Morse tapers available in No.3 and No.6 to cover a wide range of applications.
- Minimized body for less interference: The compact profile reduces contact with surrounding tooling and workholding, delivering smoother operation in cramped setups and helping maintain precise center alignment.
- Carbide-tipped for durability and precision: Carbide tips resist wear and maintain a sharp, stable center under heavy cuts, contributing to longer tool life and consistently accurate runout.
- Broad Morse taper compatibility with CAP rotation protection: Works with multiple Morse taps (No.3 and No.6) for versatile mounting, while the CAP rotation design helps prevent ingress of dust and coolant, reducing maintenance and extending service life.
With its economical construction, low runout of 0.00012"–0.00024" (0.003–0.006 mm), and a design focused on reliability, the Widin Live Centre supports stable centering across a range of turning operations. Its minimized body reduces interference, the versatile Morse-taper options accommodate various machines, and the protective CAP rotation features help keep contaminants out—delivering dependable performance and fewer interruptions for shops of all sizes.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
