Carmex MTB Solid Carbide Thread Mills with Through Coolant are engineered for precise thread milling in UNC, UNF, UNEF, and UNS forms. Built for through-hole work with an MT7 shank, this tool delivers clean, accurate threads and extended life in demanding metalworking environments.
- Diameter x thread pitch: 5/8" diameter, 11 TPI (UN forms: UNC/UNF/UNEF/UNS)
- Through-coolant bore: coolant is delivered through the bore directly to the cutting edges, enhancing chip evacuation and cooling for consistent threading
- Solid carbide construction: rigid, wear-resistant material that maintains sharpness and precision over many cycles
- MT7 shank: compatible with standard MT7 tool holders for secure, accurate seating

The through-coolant capability means coolant travels through the tool to the cutting zone, aiding chip removal from the hole and reducing heat buildup. The MTB design is especially advantageous in high-volume production or precision applications where reliable thread quality and longer tool life matter most.
