Meet the Carmex Carbide Mini Thread Mill—an all-purpose, high-precision tool designed for UN-series threads (UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNS). Built for internal and external threads alike, it delivers reliable performance at medium to high speeds, making it ideal for compact spaces and demanding materials.
- Tool Type: Carbide mini thread mill capable of producing UN threads, including No. 10 x 32, for both internal and external applications
- Material & Coating: MT7 sub-micron carbide with a Titanium Aluminium Nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10–K20) for enhanced hardness and heat resistance
- Threading Range: Versatile tool that covers a wide range of thread pitches within the UN family, reducing tooling variations
- Cutting Speed & Efficiency: Optimized for medium to high cutting speeds, enabling shorter machining times without sacrificing accuracy
- Flute Design: Spiral flutes provide smooth cutting action; 3–5 flutes shorten cycle times and improve chip evacuation
- Coolant & Depth: Through-flute coolant delivers efficient heat removal and debris clearance in deep-hole threading
- Profile & Rigidity: Short tool profile minimizes cutting forces and deflection, supporting deep-hole threading with stable performance
- Durability & Life: Coating and geometry extend tool life, suitable for machining hardened materials up to 45 HRc

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
