Description
The Carmex Thread Mills Carbide Mini Type is a high-precision threading tool designed for machinists who need reliable internal and external threads in tight spaces. Built for UN thread standards (UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNS) at 7/16 x 20, it delivers strong performance at medium to high speeds, especially in deep-hole applications.

- Material & Coating: Carbide MT7 sub-micron grade with a Titanium Aluminium Nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10–K20) for superior wear resistance
- Through-Coolant & Deep-Hole Capability: Coolant through the flutes enhances chip evacuation and cooling in deep-hole threading
- Flute Design: Spiral flutes provide smooth cutting action and efficient debris removal, supporting stable finishes
- Profile & Speed: Short profile with 3–5 flutes reduces cutting forces and enables shorter machining times at moderate to high speeds
- Versatility & Hardened Materials: Handles a wide range of pitches and can machine hardened materials up to 45 HRc
- Durability: Triple coating extends tool life, delivering consistent performance over multiple uses
This single, versatile tool eliminates the need for multiple taps and delivers dependable performance in both internal and external threading tasks. Its design supports deep-hole threading with efficient coolant delivery, enabling faster cycles and cleaner threads across a broad material spectrum.

Do you offer Free Next Day delivery?
Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
