The Omega Indexable U-Drill is a versatile general‑purpose drilling tool designed for metalworking, using ISO SPMG/SPKX inserts. With a 37mm diameter and a 5xD maximum depth, it handles steel, stainless steel, cast iron, exotics, and non‑ferrous materials, and features internal through coolant capabilities.

Inserts compatibility: Uses SPMG or SPKX ISO inserts.
Depth: 5xD maximum drill depth.
Coolant: Internal through coolant capabilities.
Diameter: 37mm cutting diameter.
Holder options: Holders available in 2xD, 3xD and 4xD.
Materials: General insert grade available for machining Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron & Exotics.
Application: Excellent for general purpose indexable drilling.

The SPMG/SPKX insert system provides a cost‑effective, replaceable cutting edge to reduce downtime and maintenance. The 5xD depth enables deeper holes in a single setup, boosting productivity. Through coolant aids in chip evacuation and edge cooling, helping extend tool life across a range of tough materials. Compatible with multiple holder options in the SPMG/SPKX ecosystem, this U‑drill offers flexible configurations for steel, stainless steel, cast iron and exotic alloys without guessing on substitutes.
