Y.T. Indexable Slitting Saw - 300mm Diameter 2.5 - 3mm Insert Thickness 122mm Cutting Depth 30 Teeth (SB300-2.5-40)

The Y.T. Indexable Slitting Saw is a robust cutting solution built for high-precision slitting and grooving tasks. Designed for professional machinists and job shops, it combines secure insert clamping with proactive chip evacuation for reliable performance at high speeds.

• Diameter: 300 mm
• Insert thickness: 2.5–3 mm
• Cutting depth: 122 mm
• Teeth: 30
• Indexable inserts: Carbide inserts provide easy replacement and are compatible with over 10 insert types
• Clamping design: Safe and reliable insert clamping, certified by Swedish customers for secure operation up to 17,200 RPM
• Chip evacuation: Patented chip evacuation design prevents blockages within the groove during operation
• Series range: Available across the full Y.T. range with standard thicknesses from 1.4 mm to 5.5 mm and diameters from 50 mm to 300 mm

Adopting the Y.T. indexable system means lower tool costs over time by swapping worn inserts instead of replacing the entire cutter, while maintaining consistent cut quality and surface finish. The high-speed capability enables efficient material removal, and the dedicated chip evacuation design minimizes downtime by keeping grooves clear under heavy chip loads. With a substantial 122 mm cutting depth and 30-teeth geometry, this saw delivers effective performance across a range of materials and applications, from through-cuts to grooves, without sacrificing precision.
