Y.T. Indexable Slitting Saw - 125mm Diameter 5 - 5.5mm Insert Thickness 39mm Cutting Depth 12 Teeth (SB125-5-32)

The Y.T. Indexable Slitting Saw is a durable, insert-based cutting solution crafted for machinists and workshops that require reliable slotting and grooving performance. With interchangeable carbide inserts, a safety-focused clamping design, and high-speed capability, it delivers consistent results in demanding metalworking tasks.

• Diameter: 125 mm cutting circle designed for precise slotting operations.
• Insert Thickness: Compatible with inserts in a 5.0–5.5 mm range for flexible setup.
• Cutting Depth: 39 mm depth of cut for efficient material removal in a single pass where applicable.
• Teeth: 12-tooth configuration for balanced cut quality and steady chip formation.
• Insert Compatibility: Uses indexable carbide inserts with the same cutter supporting over 10 insert types for easy replacement.
• Clamping Design: Safe and reliable insert clamping that maintains position at high speeds.
• Chip Evacuation: Patented chip evacuation design prevents groove blockages and reduces downtime.
• Max Speed: Certified to operate securely up to 17,200 RPM (Swedish-certified reliability).
• Series Coverage: Part of a broader range with cutter diameters from 50 mm to 300 mm across the line.

Its indexable carbide insert system minimizes tool downtime: swap worn inserts quickly without removing the entire cutter, keeping your workflow smooth. The dedicated chip-evacuation design minimizes chip buildup in the groove, promoting cleaner slots and longer tool life. With a 39 mm cutting depth and 12-tooth geometry, you achieve efficient material removal and stable cutting at high speeds, while the robust insert-clamping mechanism reduces the risk of insert movement under load. The broad insert compatibility gives you the flexibility to tailor the tool to your material and process, all without purchasing multiple dedicated cutters.
