Y.T. Solid UFO T-Slot Insert - Steels, Stainless, Super Alloys - 25mm Cutter Diameter 6mm Thickness 6mm Cutting Depth 6 Teeth (3T1225-6.0-ME-B100)

The Y.T. Solid UFO T-Slot Insert is a precision cutting insert designed for small-slot milling with UFO T-slot cutters. Built for steels, stainless steels, and hard-to-cut alloys, this 25 mm cutter-diameter insert features a 6 mm thickness, a 6 mm cutting depth, and 6 teeth, delivering stable, repeatable cuts across challenging materials. It’s a versatile choice for engineers, machinists, buyers, tradespeople, and hobbyists who need reliable performance in tight workspaces.

The tapered-polygon interface is ground to achieve seating tolerance of ±0.01 mm, ensuring secure alignment and extended insert life. The insert system covers a wide range, with diameters from 10 to 32 mm and a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm; for thin-slot work, sizes are stocked in 0.1 mm increments to dial in the exact fit you need.

• Ultra-tight seating tolerance: Precision-ground tapered-polygon interface delivers ±0.01 mm seating accuracy for repeatable, dependable performance and longer insert life.
• Wide size range with fine thickness increments: Diameters from 10 to 32 mm and a 0.5 mm minimum thickness, with 0.1 mm stock steps for precise fits in small slots.
• Efficient chip evacuation for small-slot machining: Optimized geometry and chip-clearing design keep slots clean, reduce downtime, and maintain steady cutting in challenging materials.

Using the Y.T. UFO T-Slot Insert translates to smoother setups, fewer reworks, and consistent results across steels, stainless, and super alloys. Its combination of precise seating, versatile size options, and reliable chip evacuation helps maintain workflow efficiency and deliver high-quality finishes in demanding, small-slot applications.
