Description
The Robert Charles Piloted Microstop Countersink is a precision, 3‑flute countersink with an integral pilot that guarantees accurate hole entry and consistent countersinking. Designed for aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering work, it partners with Microstop cages to deliver repeatable depth and alignment, using a 10 mm cutter diameter, 3/32 in pilot diameter, and a 100° countersink angle.
- 3‑Flute Cutting Design: Provides fast, clean, and consistent countersinks with efficient chip removal, helping you maintain throughput and produce a uniform finish across many holes.
- Integral Pilot for Precise Alignment: Built‑in pilot keeps the countersink centered in the hole, reducing wandering and ensuring exact entry every time, which minimizes rework.
- Threaded Shank for Secure Fit and Depth Control: Secure threaded interface works with Microstop cages to deliver repeatable depth settings and resist slip under vibration, ensuring reliable performance across production runs.
With pilot diameter held to −0.0005" to −0.0015" and a robust, fixed 10 mm cutter, this tool supports high‑precision work where tight tolerances matter.
