The Robert Charles Piloted Microstop Countersink is a precision countersink tool designed for repeatable, accurate hole preparation. It combines a 3-flute cutting design with an integral pilot to guide the countersink precisely into the drilled hole, delivering concentric starts and flush finishes. With a 14 mm cutter diameter, a 1/4 in pilot diameter, and a 90° countersink angle, it covers common aerospace, automotive, and precision manufacturing needs.
Engineered to work with microstop cages, the threaded shank provides a secure fit and reliable depth control, so you can rely on consistent results across setups. Tight manufacturing tolerances place the pilot diameter at −0.0005" to −0.0015", ensuring high-precision alignment and repeatability in demanding applications.
