Description
The Robert Charles Piloted Microstop Countersink is a precision cutting tool designed for accurate countersinking in metal components. It features a 120° countersink angle, a 10 mm cutter diameter, and an integral 1/8" (0.125") pilot that centers each hole before the countersink begins. Built for use with microstop cages, this tool delivers repeatable depths and consistent finishes across parts and applications.
To ensure long-term accuracy, the pilot diameter is held to −0.0005" to −0.0015" and the shank is threaded for a secure fit in compatible setups, providing reliable depth control in demanding production environments such as aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering.
