The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Grooving Insert is built for precise groove cutting in demanding metals. Its compact -T8 form and durable carbide construction make it ideal for machinists tackling challenging materials across job shops and production environments.
- Grooving insert type: Indexable carbide insert designed specifically for accurate groove creation.
- Minimum bore diameter: 9.4 mm (0.37 in) to accommodate essential groove features on the workpiece.
- Width: 0.79 mm profile for slim, controlled groove geometries.
- Material/Grade: Carbide BLU with a triple-layer PVD coating, a sub-micron grade built for durability.
- Coating and compatibility: BLU PVD coating optimized for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
- Size code: -T8 configuration for compatibility with standard indexable tool holders.
