Description
The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Grooving Insert (T8) is designed for precise groove cutting in demanding metals. With a 9.4 mm minimum bore and a 1.7 mm width, it combines a tough carbide substrate with a BLU PVD triple-layer coating for reliable wear resistance across stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys.
- Insert Type: Small indexable carbide grooving insert (T8 seating) engineered for groove-cutting operations.
- Min Bore Diameter: 9.4 mm (0.37 in) to ensure secure mounting on compatible tools.
- Width: 1.7 mm thick profile for precise groove spacing and stable cutting.
- Material & Coating: Carbide substrate with BLU PVD triple-layer coating for enhanced wear resistance and heat protection.
- Material Compatibility: Suitable for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
The insert’s robust design and BLU PVD coating deliver durable edge retention and consistent groove geometry, even under demanding cutting conditions. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
