The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Grooving Insert is built for precise groove cutting in a compact format. It’s designed for machinists who need dependable, repeatable grooves across a range of common and high-temperature materials.
- Indexable groove insert: Compact design purpose-built for accurate grooving operations in tight spaces.
- Min bore diameter: 9.4 mm (0.37 in) to accommodate small-diameter groove starts with reliable alignment.
- Carbide grade: BLU sub-micron carbide with a triple-layer PVD coating for enhanced wear resistance and surface finish.
- Coating technology: BLU PVD triple-layer coating provides durable protection against wear and heat buildup during cutting.
- Material compatibility: Suitable for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
- Designed use: Specifically engineered for cutting grooves, delivering consistent geometry and reliable chip control.
