Description
Designed for deep pocket milling and intricate 3D contouring, the Vortex Long Neck Ball Nose End Mill combines a 1.5mm cutting diameter with a 16mm reach to access tight spaces. The TiSiN-coated, 2-flute tool is built for CNC routers requiring precision and durability in confined machining zones.
- Cutter Diameter: 1.5mm precision-ground diameter allows for fine detail work on thin materials and intricate features.
- 16mm Reach: The extended long neck design provides the necessary depth to access deep pockets and narrow cavities without excessive tool deflection.
- Ball Nose Geometry: The 2-flute rounded tip enables smooth 3D contouring and delivers superior surface finishes on curved profiles and complex molds.
- TiSiN Coating: Titanium Silicon Nitride coating (visible as a copper finish) reduces friction, lowers cutting temperatures, and significantly increases wear resistance.
This end mill eliminates tool breakage risks when machining deep, narrow features by combining a slender neck with robust coated cutting edges.
