Description
The Vortex Long Neck Flat 2 Flute End Mill is a precision CNC cutting tool designed for deep slotting and engraving in tight spaces. Featuring a 1mm cutting diameter with a 5mm reach and a durable TiSiN coating, it is ideal for machining aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous metals.
- Cutting Diameter: 1mm precise cutter diameter for fine detail work and intricate machining.
- Reach Length: 5mm long neck reach allows for deeper cuts and access to confined pockets.
- Flute Count: 2 flutes designed for efficient chip evacuation and smoother cuts in softer materials.
- Coating: TiSiN (Titanium Silicon Nitride) coating provides enhanced hardness, heat resistance, and the visible bronze finish.
- Edge Profile: Flat, square-edge geometry creates sharp, 90-degree corners in slots and pockets.
This end mill eliminates the need for multiple tool changes when transitioning between detailed engraving and deeper slotting operations. The TiSiN coating extends tool life by reducing friction and preventing material buildup, while the long neck design overcomes reach limitations in standard end mills, ensuring consistent surface finishes in narrow grooves.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
