Description
The Carmex Vertical Milling CMT Three Flute Insert is a precision indexable insert designed for groove milling and vertical mill-thread applications. It’s ideal for engineers, machinists, and shops that demand accurate groove cuts, clean threads, and dependable, repeatable results.
Ground-profile inserts deliver high precision and excellent performance, even at higher cutting parameters, with a smooth surface finish. The solid, accurate clamping method ensures full repeatability across jobs, while the same insert accommodates both right- and left-hand threads. Toolholders include a Weldon shank and a coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are available for finishing touches.
- Ground-profile inserts for precision: Tight tolerances and excellent surface finish enable reliable groove and thread milling, even at higher machining parameters.
- Solid, repeatable clamping: Secure seating reduces runout and delivers consistent results across parts and operators.
- Three-flute design for versatile cutting: Efficient material removal for grooves and threads, with one insert usable for right- or left-hand threads and compatible with Weldon shank toolholders and coolant bore for improved chip control.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
