Carmex Vertical Milling CMT Three Flute Insert – Groove Milling – C12W10T is a vertical milling system that uses ground-profile, indexable inserts to tackle grooves, threads, chamfers and more. It’s designed for engineers, machinists, and shops that demand precision, repeatability, and versatility from a single tool system.
- Ground profile for precision: Ground profile inserts deliver tight tolerances and consistent edge quality for groove milling and thread cutting, reducing finishing work and increasing part accuracy.
- High-parameter performance and finish: Designed to run at higher speeds and feeds with excellent surface finish, providing longer tool life and reduced downtime.
- Universal threading and robust clamping: The same insert works for right- or left-hand threads, with a solid, accurate clamping method that delivers full repeatability; toolholders include Weldon shank options with coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are available to expand capabilities.
This setup delivers a reliable, adaptable milling solution that simplifies changeovers, maintains consistent results across parts, and supports a wide range of applications—from grooves to threads to chamfers—so you can complete jobs faster with confidence and high-quality finishes.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
