Description
The Carmex Vertical Milling CMT Three Flute Insert – Groove Milling is a precision vertical milling insert designed to perform a wide variety of threads, grooves, chamfers and more. It’s part of Carmex’s vertical mill-thread family, built to deliver dependable groove milling and threading performance.
Its ground profile delivers high precision and excellent performance, enabling operation at higher machining parameters while delivering a high surface quality. The solid, accurate clamping method ensures full repeatability, and the same insert can be used for both right-hand and left-hand threads. Toolholders include Weldon shank and coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are also available to broaden your toolkit.
- Ground profile for high precision: The inserts are ground to tight tolerances, delivering consistent geometry for precise threads, grooves, and chamfers, enabling high-parameter machining and a high-quality surface finish.
- Universal threading with full repeatability: The same insert works for right- or left-hand threads, paired with a robust clamping system to ensure repeatable results and streamlined setup.
- Complete tooling ecosystem: Toolholders include Weldon shank and coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are available to expand capabilities without swapping tooling.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
