Description
Carmex Thread Mills Mini Type with Through Coolant is a precision solid carbide thread milling cutter designed for through-hole threading in unified standards (UN, UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNS). Its compact mini-form and MT7 shank deliver reliable performance in tight spaces and small-diameter threads.
- Through-coolant bore: Internal coolant passage delivers high-pressure coolant through the tool into the pre-hole, washing chips away during the threading circle and cooling the cutting edge.
- Solid carbide construction: Durable, wear-resistant cutting edge designed for repeated use in demanding threading operations.
- Mini Type geometry: Optimized for small-diameter threads with sizes No. 10 and No. 12 and a cutting length of 24 mm.
- MT7 shank: Morse Taper 7 shank for rigid, precise mounting on compatible CNC machines.
- Thread compatibility: Supports UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNS and other UN thread forms for versatile applications.
This mini-thread mill is particularly effective when threading through pre-drilled holes where chip evacuation and edge cooling are critical. The through-coolant design reduces heat buildup at the cutting edge, extends tool life, and helps achieve cleaner thread profiles.
