The Omega ER25 Collet is a coolant-sealed, standard-precision tool holder designed for milling and drilling with round-shank tooling. Newer versions have no rubber seal on the nose, and the longitudinal slots do not overlap at centre to prevent coolant loss. To maintain the seal, use only round-shank tooling with no clamping flats—tools with flats will render the seal ineffective.
