The Vortex Indexable U-Drill is a 25 mm diameter drilling solution designed for general-purpose indexable drilling across steel, stainless steel, cast iron, exotics, and non-ferrous materials. It uses ISO SPMG or SPKX inserts and supports a 2xD maximum drill depth with internal through-coolant for reliable chip control and heat management.

By utilizing replaceable SPMG/SPKX inserts, you can refresh the cutting edge quickly without replacing the entire drill, reducing downtime. The internal through-coolant enhances chip evacuation and cooling, promoting a cleaner hole finish and longer tool life. The 2xD depth delivers consistent results across a range of standard drilling tasks, and the system’s availability with 2xD, 3xD, and 4xD holders provides flexibility for different production setups.
