Introducing the Vortex Indexable U-Drill—built around the SPMG insert system for reliable, general‑purpose drilling across a range of metals. Designed for professional machining, this U‑drill delivers consistent performance with ISO inserts, suitable for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, exotics, and non‑ferrous materials.

Insert compatibility: Uses SPMG or SPKX ISO inserts for versatile, economical tooling.
Maximum drill depth: 4xD depth capability for deeper holes in a single pass.
Diameter: 45mm cutting diameter (as specified by the product title).
Coolant type: Internal through‑coolant capabilities to enhance chip evacuation and tool life.
Holder options: Available in 2xD, 3xD and 4xD for flexible depth applications.
Material range: General purpose drilling suitable for Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Exotics and Non‑Ferrous materials.

This indexable U‑drill system combines robust design with insert versatility to deliver efficient, repeatable holes with good surface finish. The through‑coolant feature helps manage heat and prolongs tool life, while the option to choose 2xD, 3xD or 4xD holders supports a variety of hole depths in a single setup.
