Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Full Radius Grooving - MKL - BMK Grade - 5.1mm Minimum Diameter x 1mm Groove Width - 15mm Reach (Left Hand) is a precision solid carbide tool designed for full-radius grooving on small-diameter workpieces, with additional capability for general turning. It delivers repeatable grooves and smooth cutting performance across a range of materials, making it a reliable choice for machinists, engineers, and hobbyists alike.
Built around a solid carbide bar with a left-hand geometry and a 15 mm reach, this tool is optimized for tight-access grooving tasks while still handling standard turning operations. It is offered in two coating grades to match your material and cutting conditions: BXC - PVD TiN coating for low cutting speeds and effective performance with stainless steels (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40); and BMK - a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating, delivering maximum heat resistance and a smooth cutting experience for broader material use.
- Full-radius grooving for small diameters: Precisely cuts full-radius grooves on parts with a 5.1 mm minimum diameter and 1 mm groove width, preserving tight tolerances and delivering a clean finished groove.
- Two coating options for versatility: Choose BXC TiN for low-speed stainless steel work, or BMK’s sub-micron, triple-coated formulation for high-heat, smooth cutting across a wide material range.
- Rigid carbide construction with long life: Solid carbide body provides stiffness and durability, enabling reliable performance through multiple passes and demanding turning and grooving tasks.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
