Description
The VCOIL Plug Gauge is a precision Helicoil gauge designed for right‑hand UNC (STI) threads, sized No. 12 x 24 with 2B tolerance. It’s manufactured to ANSI/ASME thread standards and built to provide reliable go/no‑go checks in one compact tool.
- Thread standard: UNC (STI) thread gauge aligned with ANSI/ASME thread system.
- Go/No-Go design: Combined go plug and no‑go plug gauge; scrap side is clearly marked with a red ring.
- Go end usability: The go end should thread into the part by hand without excessive force.
- No-Go limit: The scrap side must not be able to turn more than two revolutions in the cut thread without excessive force.
- Size and tolerance: No. 12 x 24 with 2B tolerance class.
- Configuration: Right‑hand gauge suitable for standard helicoil/threaded hole checks.
- Grip and handling: Knurled body for secure handling in busy workshop environments.
- Reference temperature: Parts and gauges tested at 20°C reference temperature.
Using the VCOIL Plug Gauge helps ensure consistent thread quality for helicoil inserts and threaded holes. It clearly delineates acceptable and unacceptable thread conditions, reducing misfits and rework while supporting reliable, repeatable inspections in production or maintenance settings. The hand-screwable go end and two‑turn no‑go limit provide straightforward, repeatable checks that align with industry standards.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
