Description
VÖLKEL's VCOIL GO plug gauge is a precision tool for verifying UNC (STI) right-hand threads in helicoil applications. Sized for 1-1/2 x 6 and 2B tolerance, it ensures threads meet exact standards through a simple hand-screw test.
- Gauge type: GO thread plug gauge for UNC (STI) right-hand threads, designed for Helicoil/coil inserts.
- Size & tolerance: 1-1/2 x 6 UNC, 2B tolerance class.
- Standards: Manufactured and assessed in accordance with ANSI/ASME thread systems; reference temperature set at 20°C for parts and gauges.
- Material & construction: Precision-machined metal body with a knurled grip handle for controlled hand operation.
- Calibration options: Factory calibration certificate available on request; calibrated by an independent laboratory to DIN, ISO, and ANSI specifications using IAC thread scanners.
- Operational criterion: The GO gauge must screw into the thread-cut portion of a part by hand without excessive force; difficulty indicates the thread does not meet the required standard (scrap).
This gauge provides fast, reliable verification of thread quality in helicoil applications, helping you confirm conformity to international standards, maintain calibration traceability, and reduce the risk of assembling parts with out-of-spec threads.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
