Dormer Pramet A620 12.50 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 HSS-E Straight Shank Stub Drill is built for demanding machining tasks, featuring a 12.50 mm diameter designed to tackle stainless steel and other tough materials. Crafted from HSS-E (high-speed steel with cobalt), it delivers excellent heat resistance and edge retention to help you cut cleanly and consistently.

Its stub length and straight shank deliver exceptional rigidity, reducing deflection and chatter for accurate, square holes even in tight spaces. Designed to DIN 1897 standards with a 2.5D depth ratio, this drill excels in precision work where depth control and reliability matter.

• Rigid stub design for precise holes: The shortened flute length minimizes deflection and vibration, delivering straight, true holes in stainless steel and other hard materials.
• HSS-E with cobalt for tough materials: High-speed steel with cobalt provides superior heat resistance and wear performance, helping the drill maintain sharpness through demanding jobs.
• DIN 1897 standard with 2.5D depth: Conforms to DIN 1897 for interchangeability and predictable depth, enabling reliable hole depth in constrained spaces.

With the A620 drill, you gain dependable performance that reduces downtime and rework. The combination of rigidity, durable material, and standardized dimensions supports faster setup, consistent hole quality, and longer tool life, making it a trusted choice for engineers, machinists, and technicians in metalworking environments.
