Dormer Pramet A620 4.50 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 4.50 mm HSS-E Straight Shank Stainless Steel Stub Drill is engineered for high-performance drilling in stainless steel and other tough materials. Made from HSS-E (high-speed steel with cobalt), it delivers excellent heat resistance and durability to keep cutting efficiently even under hard machining conditions. With a stub length, this drill provides exceptional rigidity to minimize deflection, helping you achieve accurate, clean holes in challenging workpieces. Designed to the DIN 1897 standard, it features a depth ratio of 2.5D, making it ideal for precision work in tight or limited spaces.

• Rigid stub design for precise holes: Short, stiff geometry reduces flex and deflection, delivering consistent hole accuracy in stainless steel and other tough materials.
• HSS-E with cobalt for heat resistance and long life: Enhanced alloy withstands higher cutting temperatures, extending tool life and maintaining sharpness through demanding applications.
• DIN 1897 compliance with 2.5D depth ratio: Standardized fit with common holders plus the ability to drill deeper in restricted spaces without changing tools.

Whether you’re performing routine stainless steel fabrication or tackling precision-only tasks in limited-depth pockets, this drill helps you complete holes cleanly and reliably. The combination of rigidity, durable material, and standardization supports smoother workflows, reduces rework, and delivers repeatable results across a range of tough drilling jobs.
