Dormer Pramet A620 8.00 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 8.0 mm HSS‑E Straight Shank Stub Drill is built for reliable stainless steel drilling and other hard materials. Its straight shank and short, rigid stub length minimize deflection, helping you produce clean, accurate holes even in tight spaces. Designed for engineers, machinists, and workshop professionals, it delivers consistent results in demanding applications.

Manufactured to DIN 1897 standards with a 2.5xD depth ratio, it offers precise, repeatable performance where space is at a premium.

• Rigid stub geometry for precise, low‑deflection holes: The compact stub length minimizes tool flex so you can drill straighter holes with confidence in demanding materials like stainless steel.
• HSS‑E cobalt alloy for heat resistance and durability: The cobalt‑enhanced steel maintains sharpness and extends tool life when cutting tough metals, reducing downtime and rework.
• DIN 1897 compliant with 2.5xD depth ratio: Designed to standard hole sizes and optimized for deeper drilling in limited spaces, delivering consistent results across tasks.

In practice, the A620 drill delivers reliable hole quality with fewer reworks and smoother workflow on stainless steel and other tough materials. The HSS‑E cobalt alloy maintains sharpness under heat, while the stub geometry minimizes deflection for repeatable hole dimensions. With DIN 1897 compliance and a 2.5xD depth capacity, you gain predictable performance in restricted spaces, making it a dependable choice for workshops, job‑site tasks, and production runs alike.
