Dormer Pramet A620 6.00 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 6.00 mm HSS-E Straight Shank Stub Drill is designed for dependable stainless steel drilling and other hard materials. Constructed from HSS‑E (high‑speed steel with cobalt), it stands up to heat and wear, helping you achieve consistent hole quality in demanding work.

Its stub length increases rigidity, reducing deflection for clean, accurate holes in cramped setups. By following DIN 1897 standards and offering a 2.5xD depth ratio, this drill is tailored for precise work in tight spaces where reliability matters.

• HSS‑E cobalt alloy for durability: Delivers superior heat resistance and long tool life when drilling stainless steel and tough materials, helping maintain sharpness under demanding cutting conditions.
• Rigid stub design for straight holes: Short, stiff geometry minimizes deflection, producing accurate holes even in restricted workholding or challenging materials.
• DIN 1897 compliance with 2.5D depth: Ensures consistent hole depth and repeatable performance in precision tasks conducted in limited-access setups.

This combination of durable material, rigid geometry, and standardized dimensions translates into faster cycles, fewer reworks, and a smoother workflow. You gain confidence from reliable hole quality, cleaner finishes, and reduced downtime when working with stainless steel and other hard alloys—making it a dependable choice for engineers, machinists, and maintenance teams alike.
