Dormer Pramet A620 3.50 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 3.50 mm HSS-E Straight Shank Stainless Steel Stub Drill is a high-performance drill designed for drilling stainless steel and other tough materials. Crafted from HSS-E (high-speed steel with cobalt), it delivers superior heat resistance and durability, helping you maintain consistent cutting performance under demanding conditions. The stub length provides exceptional rigidity, minimizing deflection and chatter to produce accurate, clean holes. Designed to DIN 1897 standards with a 2.5xD depth ratio, it’s ideal for precision work in tight spaces where hole depth must be controlled without compromising strength.

• Rigid Stub Geometry: The compact flute length minimizes deflection and vibration, delivering consistent hole size and a smooth finish—even in stainless steel and other hard-to-cut metals.
• HSS-E with Cobalt for Enhanced Heat Resistance: Cobalt-infused high-speed steel withstands higher temperatures, enabling tougher materials drilling with longer tool life and reliable performance.
• DIN 1897 Compliance with 2.5xD Depth: The 2.5xD depth ratio supports precise hole depth in restricted spaces, delivering repeatable results in challenging setups.

With this drill, you gain reliable hole quality and extended tool life across stainless steel and other demanding materials. The combination of a rigid stub design, cobalt-enhanced steel, and DIN-standard geometry reduces downtime from deflection, rework, and tool changes, helping engineers, machinists, and hobbyists achieve consistent results and faster cycles even in constrained Workspaces.
