Dormer Pramet A620 4.30 mm HSS-E STRAIGHT SHANK STAINLESS STEEL STUB DRILL X2.5D DIN 1897

The Dormer Pramet A620 HSS-E Straight Shank Stub Drill is engineered for high-performance drilling in stainless steel and other tough materials. With a 4.30 mm diameter, it uses HSS-E (high-speed steel with cobalt) to deliver superior heat resistance and edge retention, helping you push through hard metals more reliably.

The stub-length design provides exceptional rigidity, reducing deflection for accurate, clean holes even in challenging applications. Built to DIN 1897 standards and featuring a 2.5xD depth ratio, this drill is ideal for precision work in limited spaces and demanding machining tasks.

• HSS-E cobalt alloy for heat resistance: Maintains sharpness and cutting efficiency in stainless steel and other hard materials, reducing smoothing wear and extending tool life.
• Stub length for rigidity and precision: Shorter body minimizes flex and wandering, delivering consistent hole size and smooth finishes in tight setups.
• DIN 1897 standard with 2.5xD depth: Standardized geometry and depth control enable reliable, repeatable results where space is limited and precision matters.

Whether you’re an engineer, fabricator, or dedicated hobbyist, this drill helps you complete work faster with fewer reworks. Its robust construction and precise geometry translate to easier setups, reduced downtime, and dependable performance on demanding projects.
