Description
VCOIL Plug Gauge (NoGo) is a precise, go/no-go inspection tool for metric threads used with Helicoil inserts. Designed for machinists and quality professionals, it verifies M36 x 1.5 threads to the 4H tolerance class, aligned with STI metric conventions.
- Combination Go/No-Go gauge: One tool that tests both acceptance (Go) and rejection (No-Go) of internal threads.
- ANSI/ASME thread standard compliance: Manufactured and assessed to the relevant ANSI/ASME thread system guidelines.
- Metric thread size: M36 x 1.5 with 4H tolerance for precise helicoil applications.
- Right-hand orientation: Configured for right-hand threaded components.
- STI metric reference: Designed to align with STI metric threading conventions.
- Red-ring scrap indication: Scrap side is marked with a red ring for quick identification.
- Temperature reference: Reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C to ensure consistent measurements.
This gauge helps ensure helicoil installations meet exacting standards, reducing rework and ensuring reliable thread performance. The Go end should screw into the thread cut by hand without excessive force, while the No-Go end must not penetrate more than two manual turns, indicating the thread is within specification.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
