Description
Precision thread validation for metric Helicoil repairs. The VCOIL Plug Gauge (NoGo) is a dual-ended go/no-go gauge for right-hand M42 x 3 threads, built to ANSI/ASME standards for reliable quality control.
- Type: Thread limit plug gauge (Go/No-Go) for metric STI/Helicoil threads.
- Standards: Manufactured and assessed in accordance with ANSI/ASME thread systems.
- Size and class: M42 x 3, 4H right-hand thread.
- Go engagement: Go end must screw into the thread by hand without using excessive force.
- No-Go engagement: No-Go end must not be able to be turned more than two turns into the cut thread.
- Scrap marking: Scrap side is clearly indicated with a red ring for quick identification.
- Temperature reference: Reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C.
- Application: Ideal for verifying Helicoil insert threads and ensuring proper fit in metric applications.
Using this gauge helps ensure consistent thread engagement, reduces rework from undersized or oversized holes, and provides clear pass/fail results during assembly and repair workflows. The dual go/no-go design supports efficient quality checks, while the red scrap indicator minimizes reading errors in fast-paced environments.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
