Description
The VCOIL Plug Gauge (NoGo) is a metric Go/No-Go thread gauge built for Helicoil applications. Designed for machinists and quality inspectors, it verifies M36 x 2 threads quickly and in accordance with ANSI/ASME threading standards.
- Go/No-Go plug gauge: a single tool that combines go and no-go checks to confirm the M36 x 2 thread size with clear pass/fail results.
- Metric (STI) standard: manufactured and assessed under the ANSI/ASME metric thread system for reliable validation.
- 4H tolerance class: calibrated to the 4H tolerance specification used on external metric threads.
- Right-Hand thread: optimized for common right-hand thread installations in Helicoil systems.
- Size: M36 x 2 thread specification clearly defined for consistent calibration.
- Visual scrap marking: red ring on the scrap side to prevent misreading during inspections.
- Temperature reference: standard reference temperature of 20°C to ensure consistent measurements in typical workshop conditions.
- Hand-screw usability: go end should thread into the part by hand without excessive force; scrap end must not twist more than two turns in the thread.
Use this gauge to quickly confirm thread quality, reduce guesswork during Helicoil installations, and maintain consistent part compatibility across production runs. The go/no-go design provides an immediate indication of meet/not-meet standards, helping you minimize rework and safeguard part integrity, with clear scrap-side marking and precise metric sizing for reliable everyday use.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
