BaerCoil Thread Insert BSW - 3/16 x 24 - 1.5 X D is a high-strength stainless steel threaded insert designed for durable, wear‑resistant taps in BSW applications. It’s built for engineers and technicians who need reliable, long‑lasting threads in challenging environments.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2.
- Cross‑section: Rhombic profile achieved by cold‑form swaging, maximizing load distribution and space efficiency.
- Thread type and size: BSW thread insert, 3/16 x 24, with a length of 1.5 times the major diameter (1.5 D) for a robust engagement.
- Manufacturing process: Precision swaging in a cold‑form process to maintain tight tolerances and consistent geometry.
- Performance advantages: Superior wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, improved surface finish, and enhanced corrosion and heat resistance versus typical single screw connections.
