BaerCoil BSW thread inserts provide durable, corrosion-resistant thread reinforcement for metal assemblies. Designed for machinists and engineers who need reliable threaded connections in demanding environments, this 7/16" diameter, 14 TPI insert with a 1.5D length delivers strong, lasting performance.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with a minimum tensile strength of 1400 N/mm2.
- Cross-Section: Rhombic profile achieved by cold-form swaging for increased contact area and efficient space usage.
- Size & Thread: BSW thread insert, 7/16" diameter with 14 threads per inch.
- Length: Overall length equals 1.5 times the major diameter (1.5 D) to ensure secure engagement.
- Corrosion & Heat Resistance: Stainless steel construction offers reliable performance in humid, oily, or moderately heated environments.
- Wear Resistance: Enhanced thread engagement reduces abrasion and extends thread life under repeated fastening cycles.
