BaerCoil BSW thread inserts are engineered for durable, repairable internal threads in soft or worn materials. Designed for engineers, machinists, and maintenance technicians, this 3/8 x 16 insert delivers strong, long-lasting torque transfer in a compact form.
- Material & Strength: Austenitic chromium‑nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2 for excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
- Thread Size & Length: 3/8" x 16 BSW with a length of 2.5 D to provide ample engagement and reliable load distribution in confined spaces.
- Cross‑Section & Construction: Cold‑formed, rhombic swage‑wire profile that maximizes thread engagement while preserving wall thickness in the host material.
- Surface Finish & Fit: Precisely swaged and formed to deliver smooth internal surfaces that reduce wear during assembly and enable repeatable, clean installations.
