Description
BaerCoil BSW thread inserts are a durable, high-performance solution designed for heavy-use assemblies where maintaining strong, damage-resistant threads is essential. Built for applications that demand reliability, these inserts help your machinery run longer between maintenance cycles.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2 for lasting performance in challenging environments.
- Cross-section: Rhombic cross-section achieved through cold-form swaging, maximizing grip and efficient use of space in tight or crowded assemblies.
- Thread type: BSW internal threading to provide a robust, wear-resistant connection for 1 1/4" fasteners.
- Installation depth: Specified for a depth of 2×D, aligning with the insertion guidance associated with this size to ensure proper seating and engagement.
- Corrosion and heat resistance: Stainless steel construction delivers superior resistance to corrosion and elevated temperatures, extending service life in harsh conditions.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
